CPS Test
Test your clicks per second: pick a 1, 5, 10 or 30-second mode and click the area as fast as you can. The timer starts on your first click, the countdown runs live, and at the end you get your CPS, total clicks and a spot on the rating scale.

CPS rating scale
| CPS | Rating | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Under 4 | 🐢 Slow | Casual clicking pace |
| 4 – 6 | 🙂 Average | Where most people land |
| 6 – 8 | 🏃 Fast | Clearly above average |
| 8 – 10 | 🔥 Very fast | Usually needs jitter clicking |
| Over 10 | ⚡ Insane | Jitter or butterfly territory |
How to improve your click speed
Keep your wrist anchored on the desk and click from the finger, not the arm — small motions are faster than big ones. A relaxed grip beats a tense one for normal clicking; only jitter clicking deliberately uses arm tension. Choose the test length to match what you care about: the 1-second mode measures pure burst speed, 5 and 10 seconds are the standard lengths most people quote CPS scores from, and 30 seconds tests how well you hold speed as your hand tires.

Fast clicking is only half the picture. See how quickly you react to a visual signal with the reaction time test — measured in milliseconds over five rounds — or switch from mouse to keyboard and try the spacebar clicker to count your space bar presses per second.
