What your result actually measures
A visual reaction is a chain: your eyes detect the color change, the signal travels to the brain, the brain decides, and the command travels down your arm to the clicking finger. Neural processing takes roughly 150–200 ms even in the best case, which is why nobody scores 50 ms honestly — a result far below 150 ms almost always means the click was anticipated rather than reacted. On top of your biology, the monitor refresh and mouse add a small constant delay, so treat the number as comparable on the same device rather than an absolute lab measurement.
