The two prices of a Robux

A Robux effectively has two values. The purchase price is what players pay: about one cent per Robux on the web, and roughly 25% more in the mobile app because Apple’s and Google’s store fees are passed into app prices. The DevEx value is what a developer receives when converting earned Robux to real money — $0.0038 per Robux at the standard rate. The spread is about 2.6×, and Roblox additionally takes 30% of in-game sales before Robux even land in a creator’s balance.

The 2025–26 period changed the Robux economy more than any before it: the DevEx rate rose in September 2025 ($0.0035 → $0.0038), a separate US 18+ rate ($0.0054) launched in June 2026, and Premium was replaced by Roblox Plus without a Robux stipend.
