How to use it
Tap either card to lock in your answer, then hit Next question for a new dilemma. The skip button throws any question back without picking. That simple loop fits almost any setting:
- Icebreakers: put a question on screen, have everyone vote by raising hands or moving to sides of the room, then let two volunteers defend their side for 30 seconds each.
- Road trips: the passenger reads questions aloud; everyone answers in turn and has to give one reason. No screens needed for the back seat.
- Classroom: clean mode is written to be school-safe. Use questions as quick-write prompts, debate warm-ups, or a Friday brain break.
How to write good would-you-rather questions
One rule matters more than all others: both options must be equally good or equally bad. “Would you rather have a million dollars or a sandwich” is not a question, it is a menu. Balance the stakes, keep both options concrete and easy to picture, and make the trade-off real — a superpower with a downside beats a superpower with none. Then playtest: a question that splits a group near 50/50 is a keeper, and a question everyone answers the same way goes back in the drafts.
