The EV charging cost calculator shows how much a single charge costs based on battery size, electricity price and the share you charge. It also estimates the cost per hundred kilometres, making the price of driving easy to picture.

How the calculator works and what it’s for

How the cost is calculated

The charging cost is the energy charged multiplied by the electricity price. The energy charged is the battery size times the percentage you top up.

For example, charging a 60 kWh battery by 50% while electricity costs 20 cents per kilowatt-hour gives 30 kWh × €0.20 = €6.

What you enter and what you get

Enter the battery size in kilowatt-hours, the electricity price in cents per kilowatt-hour and the amount you want to charge as a percentage.

You see the energy charged, the total cost of the charge and an estimate of the cost per hundred kilometres at roughly 18 kWh consumption.
