How the calculator works and what it’s for

How charging time is calculated

Charging time is the energy to charge divided by the charging power. The energy to charge is the battery size times the percentage you top up.

For example, charging a 60 kWh battery by 50% at 11 kW means 30 kWh of energy and a time of roughly 30 / 11 ≈ 2.7 hours.
